These stones were some of the first I ever cut and basically started my love of lapidary ❤️they also informed my preferences. Most red jasper you see is a perfect solid red, but I discovered that I really love stones that aren’t uniform. Give me something with inclusions, shape, texture, pattern-that’s where I’m happy. (Even if it IS more difficult to cut 🙃)
A fun little trillion cut iolite ring was rescued, cleanup, polished up, and got the wonky setting fixed. Looks much better than before no? ✨💙✨
Trying to decide what to post in honour of St. Patrick’s day. Turns out I don’t use a whole lot of green usually. Which is a shame because I do love green tourmaline, green garnets, green sapphires, peridot💚...I gonna start designing more green things.
