Jewellers bench:

Sheen obsidian earrings are ready!!Goodness these stones are beautiful once they’re all polished up. From this angle you can see the layers of colour, but when there is no light behind it they appear completely black. These stay interesting in every light 💁🏻
Raw amethyst bullet earrings all finished up. They're not a perfect match in colour and pattern but I think that adds to the rough, raw look of them. I love that you can see the banding of colour and how the crystals actually formed! These are Ontario amethyst that I cut from the same crystal. It's so neat to me how the same elements can grow in the same crystal structure, in the same place, and look completely different from one end to the other!
Jeweller's bench:

I loved my large elasmosaurus necklace so much! Now that's it's off in its new home I decided to make another one. This version is much smaller, the necklace shorter, the crushed stone... more crushed?
It's always an interesting process to scale anything down. It's challenging and exciting and often frustrating. But I'm quite happy with the final product.
