Yellow gold and amethyst ring. I’m often fascinated by how far I can take a design. How can I tell a complete story with my jewellery. What’s necessary and what could be left out. But sometimes it’s also nice to have a sweet and simple design 💜

I know plain grey or white is a traditional background for jewellery photos but I’ve come to accept that I love colour. It makes me happy.

This pendant has gone through a couple changes. Most importantly it's brand new chain! The larger, darker chain suits the pendant much better than the thinner, lighter one previously. It brings it all together as a complete necklace, not simply a distinctive pendant on a chain. It's a reminder that designs takes time and all the details are important. Even the chain, ribbon, beads, earhooks, ring shank. Everything that is a part of the piece comtributes to the look of it. Never forget the details!
