Sterling silver, tourmalinated quartz, onyx
Finished my lovely sticks and stones pendant. I love this little tourmalinated quartz cab so much. It has a slightly rounded back which I would usually correct, but didn’t this time and simply rounded the back of the bezel. The shape makes the clear quartz bits act like a mini magnifier. It slightly distorts and magnifies what’s underneath. Not really useful for anything, but definitely cool.
Stones, they keep surprising you.
How cool is it to have something you can see through but is totally solid? Something made by nature. How amazing is it that two different types of gems grew together in the same space??
