Jasper is such an interesting stone. Different areas produce vastly different colours and patterns, like this wild horse jasper. It looks like a landscape painting. Lapidary artists have so much choice in how to frame that by how they chose to cut the stone. The composition and colours of this stone remind me of a misty day in the wetlands.
